Synopsis:
This course will share Singapore's insights on the enablers of various forms of tourism, including the traditional forms of tourism and the more recent ones, such as health tourism and technology-enabled tourism.

- Exploitation of intellectual properties for attracting investments into the sector

- Policies and strategies that especially address key concerns of more recent forms of tourism

- Mid- to senior-level government officials involved in policymaking for promoting tourism;
- Nominated by their respective Governments;
- Proficient in written and spoken English; and

Step 1 Invitation. The General Information Brochure will be conveyed to eligible countries/territories/intergovernmental organisations about ten to twelve weeks prior to the commencement of a course. You can also find more information about courses under the SCP on this Website.
Step 2 Application. Interested applicants should be suitably qualified and holding portfolios relevant to the course you are applying for. Please submit your application online before the Closing Date for Nomination. Your application will be sent to your Supervisor and National Focal Point for Technical Assistance for endorsement.
Step 3 Confirmation. Successful applicants will receive a Conditional Letter of Acceptance via email. Please access the enclosed link to accept our invitation to participate in the course and submit any required supporting documents. Please ensure that (a) your passport or travel document is valid for at least six months from the date of your scheduled arrival in Singapore; (b) you have a valid entry visa for Singapore and relevant transit visas for your travel, if required and (c) a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate for travellers currently residing or with recent travel to countries with risk of yellow fever transmission in the past six days prior to arrival in Singapore. This requirement also applies to travellers who spent more than 12 hours in airport transit in these countries with risk of yellow fever transmission. To ensure your yellow fever vaccination certificate is valid upon arrival in Singapore, please get vaccinated at least two weeks before your travel date. Please refer to ICA’s website here for more details. Please also bring a copy of the Conditional Letter of Acceptance to Singapore to facilitate airport clearance.
