Course Objectives
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing an increasing role in Southeast Asia’s Smart City evolution as well as societal engagement with the new technology. This course aims to introduce participants to the latest developments in the digital government, economy, e-commerce, cybersecurity and generative AI. It will showcase Singapore and Morocco’s best practices in engaging industries and the public, and in developing policies for digitalization and cybersecurity.
Course Topics
Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to:
- Whole-of-Nation effort in harnessing technology to transform Singapore
- Opportunities and challenges in digitalising government, economy and society
- Use of big data, AI and robotics to improve public outcomes and service delivery
- Cybersecurity Management Issues – threats, risks and citizens
- Building public service capability to support digital transformation
- Adoption of disruptive technologies such as AI, IOT and data analytics in the Public Service in Singapore
- Best practices and institutional set ups to uphold governance
Participant Profile
- Mid-to-senior level government officials whose portfolio involves policy formulation and implementation of digitalisation, cybersecurity and/or AI in their respective countries;
- Nominated by their government;
- Proficient in spoken and written English;
In good health; and
Prepared to participate actively in the programme.
