Initiative For ASEAN Integration (IAI)
The Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) was launched in 2000 during Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship. It aims to narrow the development gap within Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) and enhance regional integration for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. Under the IAI, the SCP operates four Singapore Cooperation Centres in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. Timor-Leste was included as an IAI beneficiary country in 2024.
